This Week IRL
Restaurant Week...x3!
Let’s face it—you’re sick of coming up with something to cook for dinner every single night, and local restaurants are in need of a mid-winter boost in sales. A solution to both conundrums? Restaurant Week, city- or county-wide initiatives that invite customers to participating eateries for discounted prix fixe menus. And the last week of February brings with it not one, not two, but three Restaurant Week promotions in the 518.
Schenectady County Restaurant Week
Kicking off today and running through Sunday, Schenectady County Restaurant Week involves 40 restaurants from Glenville to the Electric City serving up $20 two-course lunches and $30 or $40 three-course dinners. Here’s what’s on the menu.
LUNCH:
Slick’s 1804 Tavern – $20 Lunch Menu
DINNER:
Saratoga County Restaurant Week
A similar story is playing out up in Saratoga County, which will host its annual Restaurant Week this Wednesday through next Thursday featuring $15 breakfast and lunch options, plus $25, $35 and $45 prix fixe menu deals. Bonus: After you’ve visited one of the participating restaurants, enter the Saratoga County Chamber of Commerce’s Restaurant Week Sweepstakes for a chance to win $1,000 in restaurant gift cards.
